I really like this album, but it’s not exactly typical gaming music. Over all is it a very dark album with moments of suspense/mystery/horror. I have yet to find an opportunity to use it for any of my games, but I’m looking forward to when I can. Many of the tracks are in the style of dramatic classical ballet music. Some tracks are more dark/ambient or suspense/horror. While I can’t say this is a necessary purchase, there are some gems which would compliment a darker styled game, such as “The New Season” and “Loose Yourself”. I might just be partial because I’m a huge fan of Clint Mansell.
