Spirited Away

Piano and strings create beautiful unforgettable melodies in this album. While it is an anime, it isn’t too distinctly “Japanese” to its sound. there is only a minimal amount of traditional instruments and Japanese style music. This makes it easier to use in any typical European-style fantasy game. I think only “Procession of the Spirits”, “It’s Hard Work”, “The Stink Spirit”, “The Return”, and “Always With Me” have traditional Japanese sound to them.

As far as its use for gaming it might be a bit tricky. Since the score is for an animation it tends to have many tracks that follow along with the motion on the screen. Definately not a must have for gaming, but a great album to listen to otherwise.
