A classic horror film with a classic soundtrack. “Ave Satani” is a very evil track, with a chorus of cultists chanting in Latin (?). (The cover by Fantomas is awesome, if you like avante garde death metal…) Suprisingly not the entire soundtrack is spooky, like Hellraiser and The Shining for instance. “I Was There” is dark and suspenseful. “Broken Vows” definitely has some horror action going on. “The Fall” has some cultist Latin chanting and gets heavier toward the end. “The Killer Storm” starts off with some dark ambience and then picks up with some horror action and more cultist chanting. “Don’t Let Him” is a good suspense track. “The Dogs Attack” is full of horror action and cultist chanting. “666” is some spine chilling horror suspense. “The Demise of Mrs Blaylock” starts of heavy with horror action and chanting and screaming and stays that way throughout the whole track. “The Altar” has some creepy organ and heavy chanting and action, but then subdues into the clamer side of creepy with slower chanting.
