A breath taking soundtrack that uses classical instruments of the Middle East (most notably the Armenian duduk – which is like a wooden flute), heavy percussion, and a range of chanting and wordless vocals to really put you in the specific time-space of the film. The moods range from dramatic to eerie to heavy action to calm to somber and dark. Some of the tracks are a bit dynamic, changing halfway through, which can but a bit tricky, but those that are more thematic are really good.
